Phil is an outstanding athlete who manages to play on Saturday and Sunday. Phil made his debut for the club in the 2000 / 2001 season where he played mainly at Right Back. During his second season however he has operated more often in midfield with the Gaffer keen to use Crofty’s pace and stamina to good effect. He has got a great engine and his endless running has often got us out of hole. Crofty will operate everywhere but he should mainly play in midfield. Crofty has scored some top quality goals in his time with the club including a brilliant individual goal on our 2001 European tour against Dutch side Oosterhout. Crofty used to manage the club's 5-a-side team who play in a Thursday night league. Crofty made the most appearances during our 2003 / 2004 season and was awarded the Managers' Player of the Season. During 2006 Crofty was chosen to be the club's new Assistant Manager.
