In his debut season 2001-02 , Alan picked up the Players’ Player of the Season Award, quite a feat for a defender in a team that was relegated. Alan is just another one of the superb Centre Backs that we currently have at the Club. He never seems to be in a hurry on the pitch, but off the pitch he always seems to be in a hurry to take his clothes off (His antics during the 2002 tour was outrageous). in 2005-06 Alan won the Managers' Player of the Season award, a fantastic achievement in his first full season back from university. Alan had a great season last term forming a formidable partnership with 50p at the back. He won the Player's Player of the Year.
