Liggsy left the club after only two games of our inaugural season to continue playing rugby but he returned at the start of the 2000-2001 season. In his first season back he picked up the Managers’ Player of the Year and he retained the award the season after. Liggsy usually starts the game in defence but if we are behind in game he considers it a personal crusade to get us back into the game, charging up front in search of a goal. With the return of Alan Hunter from university, Liggo may find himself more in midfield or up front this season. Liggs is also the Players' Representative on the Committee.
